Tropical Storm Alberto

Hosted by SuprFile.com

Well here we go...The first named storm of the season is here. Alberto was named from a tropical depression that formed Saturday morning. The weather here has been the same every single day for the past couple of weeks, so I'm glad there is something to talk about and work with, I've been getting kind of bored at work lately. Fortunately this one doesn't seem to be a threat to us in Louisiana, so no changes in our plans this week.

Summer is in full swing, it has been so, so, so hot. But we've been swimming a lot and trying to keep cool, while at the same time trying to stay active outside so we can keep our electric bill in check. A 78 degree thermostat seems so much cooler when you've been spending the whole day in 98 degree heat. Thomas is feeling better after having a piece of foam retreived from his nose Tuesday. We don't know how long it was there, but he has to feel better. It looked like a decomposing Sponge Bob Square Pants when it was retreived by the ENT. Simon had a long Friday at work with hundreds of kids at the movie theater, they went to see "Cars". John Michael had a birthday party to go to Saturday. They had a fun water slide, cupcakes, ice cream, cokes and waterguns. Margo is painting today, I'm planning on taking the little ones to the park to ride bikes this evening when it gets cooler.
