Groundhog Day

Sorry there hasn't been a post over the last day, but blogger.com was having some problems. I wanted to give you the latest on Pierre C. Shadeaux. He didn't see his shadow meaning that South Louisiana will be having a longer spring. I hope he has taken into consideration that January was one of the warmest ever. He had a whopping 74 degrees for an average high temp this month and we should have been closer to 60. This would mean that spring would have started about the first of the year. If this is the case, then summer's heat will be here by St. Patricks Day. By the way...85 degrees was the warmest day in January this year, on the 3rd. The story of Pierre C. Shadeaux is here. Enjoy the pics of blooming trees in spring.
